  1. Oh god, I thought I was the only one who was emotional. I rarely cry, but lately I've wanted to start bawling over nothing! I've recently started getting horrible cravings and I feel like the band isn't working. I'm sure this is normal though. But I need all the support I can get!
  2. Hey everyone! I'm Jessica. I just got the lapband slapped around my stomach on july 27th. I've all ready had my post-op visit and quite frankly, I'm a bit on the miserable side. For the first few weeks after my surgery I didn't feel hungry. But now that I've healed for the most part, I find myself being constantly hungry. Of course, when I do eat, I'm not eating just a cup of something. It's way more than that. I feel as though I haven't even had the surgery and I'm gaining the 16 pounds I had lost during the liquid phase. Has anyone else gone through this?? I've called my doctor to get a fill (which I am absolutely terrified of) and I have to wait a couple more weeks. Ugh...if anyone can help me through this tough time...please do! I would appreciate it greatly. -jess.
