  1. Hi I too am recommitting to the lapband and have had it 6 yrs. I lost most of my excess weight with it and adopted healthy eating habits and exercised too. However about a year ago I decided I could do it by myself and had the Fluid taken out despite the nurse suggesting I should really think about it because I may regain the weight I ignored her...well the result is I am nearly 4st ( 56 pounds) heavier. I have stopped exercising and am depressed as I feel unhealthy and a failure. So I am recommitting and am to have my infill within the coming week. I want the second time round to work as it did the first time and this time I will do as I am told and stick with it.
