  1. the pre op diet consist of chicken breasts fish and meat, high pretein, low carb, It isnt bad at all, i had baked chicken breasts, baked fish and such, was quiet good, then 2 days prior to surgery the liquid diet begins, that was the bad part but you can still drink all the liquids you want. good luck
  2. You have to get it in your head that, all that tasty yummy food is what got you to this point. Sure i would Love a giant dr pepper, and taco bell, pizza hut, and more, but I also know those are the enemy that got me to the stage where I was before surgery. Get your mind set that healthy food is the way to go.
  3. i doubt serioulsy if he does a lung test. if its your pre op your going to he is going to have you signs a lot of forms, explain the risk involved and ask you if you have any questions.
  4. you should be fine, I would tell the DR what he wants to hear, if you really want the surgery, I quit last year and still crave like crazy but its for the best you quit forever, i got the sleev on the 24th of July and wish i had dont it years ago. good luck.
  5. Hey look at it like this, if you get a CPAP machine, all the people i have talked to says it will change your life for the better, more energy more everything, the nurse told me this morning i will feel 20 years younger with the CPAP, I did a sleep study just last night with the mask only covering my nose, and it wasnt bad at all, just getting used to having a foreign object on your face, it wasnt bad at all. plus sleep apnea is very dangerous and can be deadly.
  6. That would be weird but at the same time great, your body would thank you for your actions.
  7. Im 12 days Pre Op and I know I have to drink the liquid that cleans me out. When do I start the pre op diet and what does it consist of?
