Hello,

I am new to VST and I hope that I am posting correctly. I am a sugar addict and overeater. I have tried many different diets and programs to loose weight and have not found a way to lose weight and keep it off for any length of time. I loose and then gain it all back and then some. I have decided to have the verticle sleeve surgery and met with the surgeon. I understand that the VS surgery will not be a cure; it is a powerful tool. I am happy to have found this site to hear from people who have had or will be having bariatric surgery. I'm nervous and hopeful but sick of the way the urge to overeat and obesity have impacted my life and for so long!

I look forward to learning from others that are having or will have surgery and I know I will be on the site often. Thank you,
