  4. Hi everyone... Its been a while since I've posted. Currently I have completed the process for approval, all I have left is the psych eval. I was all set and ready for that and my hubby had an accident almost 2 weeks ago. He fell out off his tree stand deer hunting. He destroyed his ankle and at this moment he is in the OR for surgery #4. I am anxious to get my ball rolling also, but want to make sure he is all set. He is self employed and non weight bearing for 8 weeks. So, here's to his healing and soon to be banded for me!
  5. Had my education session 3 weeks ago.... Endo next week... Then all I have to do is have dietician appt and psych appt. Got my dietician appt in mail today... November 16th! Omg, I totally thought I'd be done by then and recovering.... Just need a pep talk!

  14. Does the insurance require the preop diet or does the physician? I have the insurance policy on weight loss surgery and it just talks about BMI requirements etc. I have BCBS NC...
  15. Yes the doctors office requires you to attend this prior to making an appointment with the surgeon. I was just curious of what happens next and how soon etc. How are you feeling?

  23. Hi my name is Jessica and I'm 34 yo. My Dr just last week recommended I consult a bariatric surgeon for lap band. IM 206# and BMI is 39. I am scheduled for a learning session next Wednesday afternoon and then I can make appointment with the dr. I just wanted to say hello and thanks in advance for your information!
