I am not getting as much Water as I should be but having water when food stuck seems to make it worse. I finally had a green tea with honey after about an hour and that seemed to help. It's a horrible feeling. I am lamenting how little I can now eat, but know it's for the best. Just hard to get used to. Sent from my iPad using VST- Attention ! Australian Sleevers
Hi Everyone, I am almost 4 weeks post op and have moved onto soft foods. From next Tuesday i will be abe to try anything, but I am finding myself in pain/discomfort after most meals, especially dinner, when I am still trying to eat too muchtoo quickly. Any tips?? Sitting here now feeling reaaly uncomfortable after scrambled egg for dinner and waiting for t to go down really feels stuck and fighting the urge to throw up. Want to drink but that will just make it worse. Maybe I just can't eat egg or fish? Sent from my iPad using VST- Attention ! Australian Sleevers

Thanks Shelley. I also have a pile of 'baggy' clothes which I am adding to almost every day. In Melbourne for a few days and tried on a pair of 16 jeans and they fit! Didn't buy them as a long way to go yet but felt good. Started on slightly thicker 'soft' foods today. Had 1/4 cup of scrambled egg with smoked salmon for Breakfast and one salmon fish cake for lunch and the same for dinner with tatziki. Didn't get much in but so glad to be off the purée. (2 days early but couldn't wait any longer)- Attention ! Australian Sleevers

I've had the 'you look different, must be your new glasses' comment. Most of the time I leave it at that, as I want them to notice when it really is noticeable, but it's still a lttle disappointing after losing 15kgs in such a short space of time. My best friend and business partner is still ignoring the whole subject and hasn't even commented on my weight lose. This is the one I am really sad about, but kniw the issue is with her, not me. Oh dear, i hope it goes quickly for you. I tried the gourmet baby food in tubes and it is disgusting. Fruit and yoghurt has been good and soggy Cereal for Breakfast has gone down ok, but other meals have been difficult. Have tried pureed beef, chicken and fish with vege but too heavy and sat in stomach for ages. Very uncomfortable! Sent from my iPad using VST- Attention ! Australian Sleevers
So over puree!! Dreaming f food with crunch such as a prawn salad. 2 weeks to go, not that I could get something like that down at the moment! This not feeling hungry s strange. I do feel empty at times especially on first waking up in the morning, but it''s different. I was even full eating half a cup of strawberries and yogurt last night and could not finish it.
