I have never been happier about any decision I've made. I was banded April 27, 2007 by Dr. Barker in Dallas and I have already lost 38 pounts. It is so encouraging to finally be able to control my portions and eat very slowly and not be hungry all the time. This has been the answer to my prayers. Still have about 60 lbs. to lose, but there is no doubt in my mind now that I finally can do it. :clap2:

:clap2: :clap2: Insurance has been approved. Lap band surgery is scheduled for April 27th in Dallas, TX by Dr. Barker. After every diet program and years of struggling with my weight, finally I have hope that this will be the help I need to get about 100 lbs. off and get control of numerous health problems. I'm excited and hope I am as pleased as some of you seem to be. Always welcome good advice.
