  1. Same here...(on the baby thing) We had 2 unsuccessful IVFs. My weight might not necessarily be the reason for that failure, however I want to make sure to do everything in my power to illuminate even the possibility that it was the reason…. before I try any further fertility treatments
  2. thank you! Good luck to you too..... less than a month left! Yeyyyy I will definitely follow your progress I love positive people.... just makes everything better
  3. several weeks ago, after the 2nd unsuccessful IVF.....
  4. I feel so inspired reading some of your posts. Thank you! I have decided to have the surgery about few weeks ago. (I found out that Kaiser covers it with a $400 copay) Going to my 1st class Aug. 15th. Every day since I made my original decision I have had doubts : "Is it really for me?" Finding this site & reading posts is really helping me. I need to loose about 80-100 lbs which I have gained within the past 7-10 years. I have tried many diferent diets but none of them stick. I did start regular excercise which is great! It gives me energy, however it doesnt help me much in weight loss.... it just keeps me from gaining more. I am 38 & I need to make a change.
  5. I see.... Thank you for explaining
  6. I am new too! I am taking my class in Richmond Kaiser on August 14th! I am really excited but also terribly anxious! I didnt realize the process before actual surgery takes this long!
  7. Hi Christina, I am new too! I am also from Northern Cali! My class is scheduled for August 14th. (also with Kaiser) How did your class go? What are the next steps?
  8. I am starting out with Kaiser as well! I am having my first "class" on August 14th. Stupid me.... I thought right after the class I get a referral & have a surgery soon after .... After reading some posts here, I realize its a very long process ? Mamato, please let me know what stage are you on now...? I am so lost & dont know what to expect
  9. Good morning all.... First time for me.... I am going to have my orientation @ Kaiser Richmond on August 14th. I was very happy to find comments about this facility & all of them being positive I am really nervous about the whole thing but also very excited! How long does it usually take from the orientation to the actual procedure? Being a bit ignorant about the entire thing, I thought you go for orientation & than you are referred & have a surgery quite fast. Only after reading this msg board I realized that it takes months for the actual day, as well as multiple appts to diferent doctors...?
