The drain comes out tomorrow morning. What about the other pain. Is it normal to have that bad of pain 5 days out?? Have had to c sections and never had this pain. !!

I am 5 days post op and the pain is still horrible!!! I am drinking, walking, taking pain meds on time, I am taking gas x strips and stuff to go to the bathroom. Last night had a pain In between two of my incisions on my left side. It felt like I was being stabbed with a hot poker !!! My skin is tender to touch when it happens. If I put any suction back into my drain tube(on the right side)at all it starts spasming and will literally contract. The pain Ned's I have in liquid Vicodin every 4 hours and it diesn't seem to last more than three hours. I am using a heating pad!! Scared I have a leak or something. Talk to my dr. She said to start using ibuprofen. It is not helping. Has anyone else had this problem??

First day home. Awoke tonight in lots of pain. Went away with pain meds. Is this normal to have this much pain still?

It is my first night home and I am in horible pain!!! Is this normal!!! It is just all around my tummy.

What is the pre operation liquid diet??

I have met the requirements. 6 month failed nutrition, ect. Waiting on approval for nearly a month. Called in to insurance company and they said they do not do preapproval??? Called weight loss center yesterday morning and still haven't gotten it resolved??? Anyone else have this problem???

No. I didn't know that helped but I will try. It went from mild to crazy out of control in three months. I was shocked when my results came back. I ate 1/2 cup ff cottage cheese one hour later reading was 233. ??? Breakfast one egg, one egg white. Small piece watermelon. Lunch tuna, snack was the cottage cheese??? Yogurt has 32g carbohydrates.??

Type 2. Reason being over weight.

My dr said she would not fill out the paper work need for my insur to pay for my surgery till my blood sugar is under controll. I can't lose any weight or I will not qualify for my surgery. Have done my 6 month nutrition and evaluation. ???? Help. Have an appointment tomorrow. Any advice.

I am wondering if there is anyone who has the same body type (weight/height). Who has already had surgery who can tell me their story. I am going out of the country three months post surgery. Want to know how much weight loss/ how I will feel???

Do you have any suggestion on what you would of done differently if you would of known then what you do now. Any suggestions on anything to do with the surgery, weight loss, diet, loose skin...????
