I'm actually arriving in TJ on the 25th and having surgery the same day. I live in San Diego so I am able to bypass the hotel before and after. I will just spend the 2 days in the hospital.

Was anyone asked to wear these before and after surgery? If so where did you buy them.

I will probably be gone by then. I'm only staying the two days in the hospital and not going to the hotel afterwards.

I am thinking of booking January 25th with dr. F Garcia. Anyone else going at that time? I think I will be going alone so it would be great to meet others going at the same time. I'm so scared to actually put my deposit down though. It's scary to go to another country for surgery.

I'm thinking of scheduling on 1/21 with Ortiz too. I'm still trying to decide though. I'm not sure if I should save 5k by going to Mexico or just have surgery in the states.

Hi, I think you are going to Dr. Mueller right? I am going with him too. I also have to do the 6 month diet. My first appointment is next week with the dietician at his office. It totally sucks to have to wait so long but there is no way around it.

I did call my insurance and the surgery is covered. They said I would just need to meet the requirements of my medical group. I just can't seem to find out what the medical group requirements are.

I have anthem blue cross *** with sharp community medical group and I keep hearing my medical group would require a 6 month diet but my insurance doesn't. When I first asked for the referral for surgery it was denied then I filled out a form listing past diets I tried and I was approved for the consult with the surgeon. Does anyone know if that means the surgery will get approved?
