  1. Hello there, I will be praying for you! My surgery was July 5th. I was extremely nervous.. For nothing! I had a very positive experience an was so shoked at the minimal pain. The only issues I've had so far is gas(chest, back) and a terrible back ache cause I've been sleeping a little crazy. Other than that my 5 incisions have not hit me at all. I only feel a little tenderness in my belly! GOOD LUCK! Let us know how it goes!
  2. Yes I agree, his staff definitely are not the brightest, with the exception of the older nurse who is banded herself. She is a total sweetheart! Great motivator! The office staff have been very rude from the get go.. Such a shame cause he's an excellent surgeon. I'm going for my post op visit this week, and if the office women talk down on me as they have through out the process, I will express my concerns and ask for his recommendation on another Doctor cause I won't tolerate the b****iness any more! Just cause I am overweight doestnt mean I don't have a heart or feelings.
  3. Hello everyone, I had the lap band surgery 7/5/12. I am experiencing extreme gas throughout my chest, feels like its swollowing my heart sometimes. My back has been in alot of pain as well, maybe because I'm not able to sleep normally? Anyway I'm just curious to how long it took post op for YOUR gas to ease up though I know we are all different. Thanks!
