  2. We have the same surgery date. You'll get there. I was determined to start walking more before surgery so I would have that strength coming out. The surgery is just a tool. It's still all about diet and exercise. Good luck!
  3. The day of the surgery, I thought "oh my gosh, what have I done to me?". It's been an adjustment but the benefits are being seen. I've not taken a blood pressure pill in 2 weeks and I've lost 22 pounds in a month. Five days after the surgery, I walked a mile in 30 minutes...7 days later, I'm walking a 15 minute mile. I walk 30-60 minutes a day. I'm excited to step on the scale and watch the numbers go down. My clothes are beggining to loosen up. I'm looking forward to playing harder with my grandsons when they come to stay this next week. My whole spirit is uplifted!
