  1. Hello, I'm 3 weeks post op... When I got home from the hospital, I was up 10 pounds. It took a week to let go of all the Fluid, which I understood and was not upset. However, for the past two weeks, I have been drinking my Protein shakes, drinking plenty of Water, eating small pureed dinners and walking everyday... I've only lost 2 pounds and today - one pound came back! HA! I had expected to be losing weight like crazy with an 800 calories diet and exercise on top of it, but.... it's not happening... I'm doing everything by the book and I'm trying really hard not to get upset. I think it's best to stay off the scale for now, continue to follow the rules and not be so hard on ourselves... It will work!! The weight will come off!! Hang in there!!
