  1. Same here. I'm probably not perfect but I focus on my protein which doesn't leave room for much else. I was sleeved on 11/30 and down 35. I think we are all doing fine but it is frustrating. I wonder if when we look back over a full year of we all don't average out to be very similar in pounds lost per month. There are so many variables involved in weight loss.
  2. I was sleeved Nov 30th. I have been extremely moody the last few weeks. It has to be hormones. I am so irritable and mean.. I know my family is having a tough time dealing with me. I'm down about 35 pounds. I really hope this is temporary. I'm glad to read others experiences, helps me feel a little less crazy
  3. Today was my second day back. I only took a week but I have a desk job. I am exhausted. I realized today that I need to measure my meals. I keep over estimating then getting sick. Any tips on how to stick to two ounces? I am not getting any "full" signal so if I don't carefully measure I eat too much.
  4. It is medifast. That is what the surgeon puts all of his patients on for two weeks. I'll try the syrup. Thanks!
  5. Good luck to everyone going this week! Please keep us all updated. I too am struggling with the pre- op diet. The protein drinks are hard to stomach. The pretend oatmeal is like wallpaper paste, maple brown sugar flavored wallpaper paste. It's only a few more days for me. I am Nov 30

  7. I was scheduled for Nov 12 and got rescheduled to Nov 30th. I had my preop appt today and because of insurance requirements I have to have my surgery in a hospital instead of an outpatient facility. I was pretty upset when I found out then realized it is just two more weeks. I was ready to start my two week preop diet. I guess I could just start now and lose some extra pounds. But then it is just that much longer on liquids counting the four weeks post op. not sure what to do. Everyone stay safe in ths crazy weather!

  10. Or she has such a pretty face...
  11. Great list! To not dread traveling because I barely fit in the seat on the airplane and to not see the look on people's faces that says "please don't sit next to me".
  12. A few buckeyes too! Thanks for sharing your plan, that is helpful. Tparker - I hope you feel better soon!
  13. I officially start pre-op diet on 10/30 but I decided to start tomorrow and get off this last meal roller coaster. Then I started thinking... Halloween no candy, No alcohol. Dinner with friends - nope, Moms 70th birthday party, holiday parties - will still be on puréed foods... Just trying to think ahead and plan for challenges. I keep telling myself it is a new way of living and the liquid diet is temporary. I'm hoping that by my Vegas trip in mid-January it will all be worth it when I fit comfortably in the airline seat!
  14. November 12th for me! Start preop diet on oct 29th
  15. Hi all! My name is Denise from Columbus Ohio. My surgery is scheduled for Nov 12. I started the process in July. No kids, but 7 dogs . Glad to be part of the November sleevers.
