Feeling Like I Was Sucker Punched............repeatedly
I'm 18 days post op today and down 15 # I still feel like I was boxing with Mike Tyson, esp in my right flank area, but it's getting better. I was wondering what other peoples initial weight loss was those first few weeks? I hope you all are on the road to recovery;) It's will be sooooo worth our misery some day!

Feeling Like I Was Sucker Punched............repeatedly
Hi there! I'm glad to hear you're feeling better too:) I went to the Dr today and he believes I have a hematoma (accumulation of blood) in my muscles on that right side and that is what is causing my discomfort. Unfortunately that accumulation can take some time to reabsorb, so I am just going to wait it out. I did ask if I am still having this pain in a month if he would do a CAT Scan and he was agreeable. On a positive note, I'm down 14# !

Nervously Excited!
2 weeks tomorrow is my surgery with Dr. Patrick White! While I am excited about beginning this new chapter in my life (and finally taking care of me), I have some reservations! I am a RN and know all the potential complications of surgery. What has been going through my mind lately is what if something unexpected happens? I am only 41, have 2 boys age 7 and 11, and have about 90# to loose. Is it worth it? I know my risk are low for complications (I am otherwise healthy, no HTN or diabetes, ect), but the what ifs have been bothering me:( On the other hand, I wouldn't hesitate to have an operation that was necessary, so why am I worried about this? I think I have had too much time to think about it! LOL. Thanks for listening! Has anyone else had these feelings? Has anyone had any serious complications?

Hormones And Emotions
Hello Everyone! I have a question for the experts out there:) I am having my sleeve 8/6/12 and had no real concerns until I read that women can experience a real emotional roller coaster after the weight loss begins. I already suffer from PMDD, am pre-menopausal and I am extremely worried about how I will feel emotionally after the surgery. I would appreciate any thoughts!
