  1. I have had my band for 3 years now, and since day one I have had pain where the band is, I honestly wished I never got it but I do not know if getting it out will be the right decision either, "what if I gain lots of weight". Does every one know if I can get it out and have the gastric by pass surgery at the same time? This is the only way I see to be pain free of band and not gain weight back.
  2. I have had the band in for 3 years now and I get that pain in my upper left side, and I take tums or if it does not go away I found that gasx works good.
  3. I have had restriction to the point I can not drink water, but I was still hungery. I had surgery about 3 years ago and lost about 50 pounds the first 6 months and then nothing, now gaining weight, almost all has came back, very disappointed. But I also find that my band hurts ever since I got it in. But I have also giving up on ever being comfortable, I have about 2cc in it now and I am gaining weight fast but the pain is still there. So, restriction is not always a good thing.
