  1. I have this problem too and I believe at this stage my band is probably a little tight. I am trying to hang in there because I know that after a while the band relaxes. It is getting better and this is the 2nd week after my last adjustment. Sometimes I think that if you vomit too much it seems to irrate the area and once you start it doesn't seem to stop. For me I have to stop eating and let everything settle. Remember to eat very small amounts and chew for ages. Don't drink with your meal or then your in trouble. Good luck
  2. Hi Gigi and jackal1209 Thank you for your prompt reply's. It's exciting to meet people in the same boat as me. I have been unable to go to the support groups offered by my doctor so having access to this support is going to be great. I live in Brisbane Australia but originally from NZ. I have always been overweight really but stacked it on when I gave up smoking. My heaviest was about 94kg which is not good when I am only 157 cm (5 ft 2) tall. I am now at 77 and would like to get to 65. I am very slow at losing weight. I have recently had an adjustment but am finding it hard to keep much down at all this time. Can anyone advise me what types of meals you eat directly after you have had an adjustment. jackal1209 you weight loss is incredible. Fantastic!
  3. Just wanting to introduce myself, I had my op almost 2 years ago and have lost approximately 15 -18 kg's so far. I was a little slack for almost a year and never went back to my doctor for regular checks which I don't recommend you do. Consequently I never lost much weight during that time. I'm now back on track and started the weight loss again. Looking forward to being involved with this support group and hope I can give support in return. PS: I love my band and have no regrets about the operation. Jenny
