  1. Was banded along with a HH repair on 6/15. The first week went great. After I exercised the other day I was really thirsty and started drinking out of a 20oz water bottle and before I knew it (less than a minute later) it was gone. I was under the impression that you weren't supposed to be able to drink that much at one time. And that if you could it indicated slippage. I've emailed my dr but haven't heard back yet. Should I be worried?
  2. I would just watch it VERY closely. If the feeling changes or gets worse definitely do something because blood clots can be life-threatening.
  3. I'm having the same problem. I was on MOM for two days and then have stopped bc my bowels are working JUST fine. I'm supposed to go back to work tomorrow, but I think I'm going to be in the bathroom half the day. Has the Ammodium helped?
  4. I experienced very little pain on days one and two, didn't even take any pain pills. But today has been awful. I had a HH repair at the same time. Does the HH repair cause pain to show up later? Has anyone else's pain been like this? It's directly in the middle of my chest and is exacerbated by deep breathing and by putting my hands over my head. Just worried...
  5. Thank all of you for your advice! I took a nap with my head elevated and felt much better when I woke up. I'm going to wait to take any more of my meds til after I go to the clinic tomorrow.
  6. I'm 2 days post op and took my daily pills this morning. One is small, so I wasn't worried about that one. The other one is a little bigger (It is a 100mg Pristiq XR), it can't be cut because it is extended release. Its about a 1/2 inch square. I took it about an hour ago and it feels like I've got a huge rock right behind my sternum. I've been following the post-op clear liquid diet religiously and haven't felt anything like this! It's horrible! I'm afraid it's stuck. Will it go down eventually? I thought that things didn't usually get stuck for long periods of time... They either went down or came up. Do I need to contact my Dr's office?
