I am a 42 year old mother of 2 and step mother of 2. Our kids range from 3 to 20 years so we find ourselves very busy. I am a pharmacist so I work odd hours and have horrible eating habits. Because of the health problems that both of my obese parents experienced, I decided to try to lose the weight at a fairly young age so that I would be around to see my children married with children of their own. I met with Dr King and instantly liked him. He has excellent bedside manner and explained the lapband and the surgical procedure to me. I had a wonderful surgery experience-- well so far anyway. I'm only on day 2 post-banding but I am so optimistic that this will finally be the tool to help me lose the weight and keep it off!
