I have 5cc in my now but am not keeping stuff down i still get sick i just think lapband was not for me i want to get the sleeve but i do not want to go through the long journey again someone told me i would get the lap band taken out then 4 weeks go under again for the sleeve ! i;m just hurt and about to give up i waited 5 years to get lap band surgery and it back fired in my face basically....i was unfilled for about 4 months and they are gradually trying again to see if it will work....which personally i know it will not work! THANK you everyone for your insight means a lot.....how did they do your transition surgery if you don;t mind me asking? and how is the sleeve working for you??
  2. Hello my name is Emily I had lapband done in August 2010 I'm a young patient I was in a study for this lapband. I lost a total of 80lbs by April 2011 I felt great when I needed fills I would get so sick after the surgeon filled me each time this would happen one day I had to go to ER I was totally closed up and very dehydrated they had to empty my band ! I gained all my weight back ! My surgeon and doctors think the band isn't for me! I have been thinking about the sleeve ?? Some doctors say you can't get pregnant some say you can ? Any insight would be very appreciated thank you !! * emme
