  1. I live in Middlesex County. Hopefully I will have my surgery in February at Somerset Medical Center. I've had my initial consult and the doc tried to persuade me against the band. I have my appt with nutritionist and psych eval this week. Hopefully everything will go ok.. Nice hearing from you.

Hello! I have thoroughly enjoyed your posts. I am considering having the lapband. My first consultation is tomorrow. I have not been successful in following a diet thus far. What will change when I get the band. My doctor tells me the band is only good for people who eat large meals at one time. I am more a snacker. Do you think that statement is true? I would truly appreciate an honest opinion. Hope to be a bandster soon Christine
  3. Alexandra I am new at this whole chat room thing. I am not sure if my prev post went in. Thank you for all the information. How are you feeling/doing 3+ months after surgery?
  4. Hi Alexandra! I am considering having the surgery. I am attending the seminar at Somerset Medical Center and the next night at Morristown. How long was it after you attended the seminar? Hopefully they will be able to tell you if your insurance covers the surgery. I live in Middlesex but work in Morristown. :
