  1. Well I am a little over a week away until my surgery date. I am 6'4 and weigh 383. My wife had the surgery in December, and is down one hundred pounds. What scares me is the fact that all my 30 years I have been known as big man, big daddy, ect. Now in a week, I'm going to lose the only way of life I've known for ever. Questions like what if I don't like my new self,or can I tolerate the pain afterwards. Reading many of the post on here have calmed some of my concerns. So thank you all in advance for any suggestions or encouraging words.
