  1. Welcome All, it is so exciting to be able to connect with people from AZ! I just want to wish the pre-ops good luck and keep us posted and to the post-ops continued success! I think at this point we have all stalled, but the key is to not get discouraged as I did. I think if I had reached out to you guys when I first stalled I wouldn't have had such a hard time, knowing that a stall seems to be pretty normal this early in our journey. It would be great to be able to meet you all. Maybe that's something we can put together. Let me know your thoughts.
  2. I know, it was just very frustrating, but I got over the stall and have lost 5lbs. Hang in there and you should get pass your stall soon.
  3. I guess we are : ) I am down 52lbs total, but only 26 since surgery. I actually just got over a hump a week ago. I went a few Weeks without losing anything, it was very frustrating.
  4. Hi Alliecat1095, I am doing fine now.so sorry for the very very late reply. My stay in the hospital ended up being a couple of days longer than anticipated. When I got home I had a bit of a hard time adjusting. Then I went through the "why am I not losing any more weight since I got out of the hospital". I started my journey weighing 265, my pre-op weight was 239. I am 5 Weeks post-op now weighing 213 a total of 52lbs lost! I just figured I would have lost more weight after the surgery, but I realize now that i'm doing great! Sorry for the rambling, just decided to hit you with a full update : )
  5. Lol....it's not too bad. Are you pre-op or post-op? If post how long?
  6. Hi Susanfaye, I am in AZ City which is just pass Casa Grande, but work in Chandler. Sorry it took so long to answer.
  7. Well, I am on my way to the hospital to begin my new journey. Pray for me ans I will keep you all posted.
  8. I know, I have been counting down and it's hard to wrap my brain around it! I get excited everytime I think about my future me! I have already started my liquid diet, although my date to officially start is Wednesday. I just ordered my unflavored Unjury containers. I bought Isopure and Basic Essentials and it was horrible. I am returning it tomorrow!
  9. Oh wow! Sorry to hear that. Let's be optimistic and say that the coverage is going to actually be better!
  10. Hi DesertRat, I am very anxious right now. How are you feeling woth your date quickly approaching?
  11. Hi all, I am counting down to the day I start my 2 week liquid. Has anyone tried the Isopure protein drinks? I bought a few and wanted to know if I should return them. They are not cheap..LOL
  12. Hi Jaoleen, I see we have the same date and would love to go through this journey with you. I went and bought most of my liquids over the weekend. I did a couple of dry runs and thought I would die or kill someone! I'm not worried about cheating since the consequences far outweigh the momentary lapse. What kind of unflavored protein did u try, was it Unjury?
  13. Although I live in Arizona it doesn't matter if you don't.
  14. Mokee, I will most def keep posting my progress. Cindy, thanks for the advise. I will try it evwry bit helps. Congrats on your weightloss. You are off to an excellent start. Keep up the good work.
  15. I am so excited and can't wait to begin living! I envision the transformation that is about to take place and can hardly contain myself! I begin my two week liquid diet on 7/26 and go for my pre op on 8/3. My biggest concern right now is my 2 week pre op liquid diet. I feel like I will be a walking time bomb during that time. Is anyone else having the same fear?
  16. Congrats! I just found out I was approved yesterday. I am now waiting for my date. I tt my surgeon's office and my surgeon is booked for July so i'm hoping I get an August date.
  17. Ok...so I should know something by the end of next week. I'm just so anXious and on a timeline. I appreciate you sharing this work me.
  18. Thank you quietcougar, I am just ready to have that date so I can exhale : )
  19. I am getting very frustrated with my insurance company. I am awaiting approval and have been for 10 days. When I first called they told me it takes up to 72hrs. When I called after this time frame I was told 10 days. I called at 10 days and was then told it takes up to 30 days. Has anyone else experienced the inconsistency with them. I am hoping to get my surgery date before my daughter goes back to school in August. There only requirement is that you are 100lbs overweight. I called as well as my coordinator to confirm this.
  20. Hello all, I am new to this site and see a lot of the same concerns that I have. I am waiting for approval from my insurance company and am so anxious that I find my self calling them almost everyday...lol. I am really struggling with the "just be patient" thing. Is anyone experiencing or have experienced the same thing and how did you get through it?
