    Ebony that is normal after extubation your throat will be dry and irritated for some days from the anesthsia and the ett which was blowing air into your lugs. Try chloroseptic spray to the area, If u can tolerate it try ice chips they melt and soothe the throat. If it doesnt get better in about a week then you will need to contact you doctor. But it does get better.

    I am glad that you ar coming along great. Good lose the first week. keep it up. What is the time span that your doctor recommended before you return to work. I am trying to figure out how long I will need. My doctor says 4weeks. your post op plan is as mine is.
