Thank you Penni. It helps. I thought I am going crazy with that noise. It never happened so loud before and I have been banded almost a year now.

Port concern
Hello Everyone! I have a question to ask. For the past few days my port has been very sore. Also when I drink something, the noise of the liquid going down is very loud on a left hand side where my port is located. Can it be a sign that my port is disconnected? Any help is appreciated.

Is this what restriction is all about?
Well, I don't know I hope I am not an odd ball as well:) I am going to see my Dr and let them check how much fluid I have and maybe ask him to take out and put back in. Thank you!

Is this what restriction is all about?
I totally understand you! I am at 4 CC, 4 months post up and lost about 33 pounds. I can still eat a bit. Planning to go for another fill next week, but afraid to be sick since I do have a bit of restriction. In the morning-can not eat much Afternoon cup of broth and 1/2 of chicken salad At night about 7-8 boiled shrimps, or chicken breast. I also able to eat bread at times. I am worried that something is wrong with me cause I am at 4 CC and that is the max for an Inamed Band.

Slow Loss At the Beginning
You are absolutly right! I guess sometimes we get caught up in our own little world where we want results and want them over night.

Slow Loss At the Beginning
I am also a bit frustrated and totally can relate to your posting. I have been banded 2 month ago and only lost 17 pounds. I got my first fill last Wed of 2.5CC and have not lost anything yet. I can feel a little bit of restriction but still think I eat bigger portion than I should I scheduled another fill for Wed 28 to put a bit more in. I agree with you that you get a bit dissapointed to see other people loosing wait much faster than others.

Can eat almost anything!
Thank you for your repplies. I will try not to freak out and wait for my first fill. Zhanna

Can eat almost anything!
Hello everyone! It is me Zhanna! I have been banded 1 month tomorrow. I am kinda dissapointed with my results since I lost about 12 pounds. I can eat anything nowwith tiny restriction. Of course my portions are 1/2 smaller than I used to eat but I am afraid I am not loosing enough at this time. I am going for my first fill on Jan 7th. Please let me know if it is normal. Also what is good restriction in terms of portions. If you are able to eat CHicken breast and some veggies for dinner or lunch is it alot? Thank you for your help!
