  1. I have been banded since 2003, no fluid in my band since March 2004 (got pregnant). I continued to lose weight without an adjustment & then found I had partial slippage. I have been co-exisiting with no complications. I would get the gas pain occasionally, usually would subside in 24 hrs. I am now going on over a week with this pain. I have tried Gas-x, sure I continue to burp but it does not ease the pain. I exercise daily, have put myself on liquid diets & it still is ridiculous. Dr Shayani performed my surgery & he is an AWESOME physician! Problem is he practices too far from me. The pain interrupts normal activity & I'm basically afraid to eat or drink anything! Any referrals to a surgeon in the area?
