Hi! Congratulations on your upcoming surgery. It's so great to have hope finally at being a healthy size!! The hardest part for me was waking up from the anestisia(This was my first ever surgery of any kind),my stomach hurt but i was so happy that i just let myself fall asleep again.the next time i woke up i was in my room.I was up the same afternoon and walking. This is important because you have to get the trapped gas moving! Slip on shoes and loose pants are a good idea. Books or something to occupy your time as well. Good luck!!!!! Chantal:p
  2. Thank you for responding! Do you or anyone reading this follow some kind of diet or do you just eat less of the same foods as before your band? Chantal
  3. I hope so too! It's so frustrating having had the band for a year and only losing 30 lbs!I was hoping for more of a fill but I will try and see him in the next few months for another if I don't lose more weight.Do any of you actually diet?or do you just eat less?I see people losing 70 80 100 lbs and it seems so unreal to me!Can that really happen to me..can i really be thin!!!!!Maybe i just don't beleive enough to make it happen! Chantal
