- Questions About Being Stuck!
Just remember to chew chew chew and as some if the others said don't be scared to eat, its going to be trial and error with some foods. Some people can eat red meats some can't. We are all different and it's a learning process as to what things get stuck and what don't. I'm happy to give up red meat as I was never a fan of it anyway. You'll be fine just chew chew chew and then chew chew chew, lol. Some times I feel like a cow I'm chewing so much. Best wishes!- Questions About Being Stuck!
- Sigh, So Little Restriction
I am six weeks post op and I will be going in to see my doctor every two weeks till I get to the green zone. My first fill was done at three weeks post op, had .8mls put in and my second fill was today, .5mls was put in. I have a total of 5.5mls in my band ATM. 4.2 Mls was put in on day of operation. I was told today I have and APL band which holds a total of about 12 mls. ATM I have no hunger nor any desire for food and all I've had is water and a slice of lean turkey breast and had no problems of it going through the band. Let's see what the next few days brings.- Constipation
Prunes when needed a lots of water does the trick for me. I personally don't like taking over the counter medicine as I have done in the past and then my body tends to rely on it.- Do Post Banders Handle Heat Better?
- Why Am I Stuck?
Ty for the visual mis73, I had my first stuck episode three nights ago with broccoli, my own fault and wasn't cooked soft enough but even though I take small bites compared to your pic mine are still too big so going to take smaller bites from now on. Mis73 would you happen to have a blog, if so I'd love to read it.- Feeling Full Or Bloated One Week Post Op

- Do Post Banders Handle Heat Better?
I've lost 20 kilos which I think is just a bit over 40 pounds and I definitely feel cooler. Apparently bigger people are a degree warmer, so my doctor told me. But yes looking forward to an Aussie summer weighing less and fingers crossed not feeling the heat so much this summer.- Two Years Later Over 100 Pounds Lost!

My apologies Donna, I'm in Australia so we probably have different names here. What you are taking might not be working for you and you may need something more effective. To get somac I need a doctors prescription here so it might even be worth making an appointment with your doctor.- I Get My First Fill Tomorrow And I'm Scared!!
You will be fine, I had my first fill today and it was over and done within a minute. You just feel a little pin prick and that's it. My surgeon put a pillow under the small of my back, made me cross my arms in front of my chest and lean forward so he could find the port. Good luck and it will be easy!- Tummy Talk
I had my first fill today, three weeks after being banded and the hunger I was having yesterday disappeared within an hour of having my first fill. I may be one of the lucky ones that is feeling restriction early. My tummy grumbles a lot too and it can grumble all it likes because I'm not hungry to feed it.- Gassy Beyond Normal?

You look amazing!- Starving :(
I know what you mean, today is exactly three weeks post op for me and today I have been hungry all day and it's not head hunger its gut wrenching tummy hunger but I have been a very good girl and not given in. Just been drinking extra Water and tea and tomorrow I go in for my first fill thank goodness. Can't wait to get that feeling of not being hungry again. I can't do the Protein shakes anymore they make me feel sick, so it's determination and a strong will ATM, I feel I've come too far to break all my good work and honestly I just don't want to eat like I used too, this new way feels so much better hungry or not for me personally. Big hugs for you and hang in there, it's tough but so going to be worth it!- I Cheated!
Bbmcg I had the same thing about a week after the op. felt like I had an elephant sitting on me and couldn't take deep breathes either but it's all gone now. It's probably swelling in the area but maybe to be on the safe side call your surgeon see what he says.- 5 Mnths Post Op Pics
Looking fantastic, you must feel so proud!!- 5 Weeks Post Op
Hi there, I'm wondering if you may have acid and that's why you constantly feel nauseous. I know I have that problem and when it's at it's worst if I eat I feel even more nauseous. I do take somac for it and it helps clear it up. Does your tongue have a white coating on it, that's flap an indication if exescive acid in your tummy. I hope you get whatever it is sorted out soon so you feel bette - New Nsv
