  1. I just went to the doctor today for the pain, burning sensation at my port site. I'll be 9 weeks post op tomorrow. The doctor said everything felt fine, that I probably had a stitch come loose (those internal ones), but it's been aggravating me for 3 days. I'll continue to walk and hope it dissolves quickly so I can get back to Zumba this weekend. Eat well, Rest well, and look forward to the new you!
  2. Left Shoulder Pain 6 Days Post Op: Look for this topic yesterday for some replies.. It will get better, don't eat too much, try liquids and walking!! Take a sip of your pain med too!
  3. I struggle with this up until 7 weeks post op. If I eat too much my left shoulder and neck hurt. Dr. Richard said he had heard of that before but did not elaborate on it. I guess this is my sign to stop eating when the least bit of pain starts in my shoulder...The pain is horrible. Best of luck and I hope it goes away sooner for you.
  4. I was banded on April 17th, and had a fill on June 1st. 3cc, I don't feel any restriction, except when the scales are not showing weight loss. That makes me want to up the walking and be careful what goes in my mouth. I know the restriction will come, so it's best to learn to chew thoroughly, and eat lean protein 1st. I'm down 28 lbs, but my eyes still want alot of the "good foods" that got me into this shape to begin with. Best wishes and good luck!
  5. I am 8 weeks post op today, and after doing Zumba workout on Sunday, I had the worst pain and swelling in my port area. It stung, felt like a stitch was working it's way out through my skin, and the swelling was the size of a softball. I did call the nurse and she said that I probably over done it, and the muscles were still healing. Today the swelling is much better, still some pain to the touch, but my 2 mile walk this morning was fine with no pain. Good luck...28 lbs down and alot more to go!!
