I know it's late in the day, but HAPPY BIRTHDAY TRACYK!!!! I know that I haven't kept you all updated, but it's been very trying for me....short story, my daughter is in jail on some felony charges, I her boyfriend just got out of jail for beating her up, and I have temporary (6-12 months) custody of their baby through Child Protective Services....It's wore me out basically emotionally, and getting up at 2am with a baby wears me out physically!!! 20 years ago this was nothing, but my old body is tired!!! I'll tell you all the whole story when I have the energy.... Hope that you're all doing well. xoxo

Hey Pam...how do you like your Tempurpedic? Which mattress do you have? My hubby and I are thinking about ordering the split calking Rhapsody with the ergo base (adjustable head/feet w/massage). I've heard mixed reviews about these beds...some say that the tempurpedic mattresses break down after a few years (despite their 20 yr warranty), some say they're too firm, some say they smell bad at first, some say they're too hot...others say they're the best investment they've ever made when they've had back or neck problems...what's your thoughts on it since you sleep on one every night? I want to make sure that we're making the right choice since this is a pretty big investment ($8100 + tax) because of the ergo base....

Ok that site just depressed the hell out of me Laura....I went to "view public entries" and this was the first post that came up: time.... How do I find the strength or the heart to tell my wife and kids that i am dying I sit with my daughters dog and hold him..... its almost as if he knows i am ill i am beyond scared (written Wed Jan 31, 2007, sent Thu Jan 31, 2008)

Same thing here...I LOVE my ATT Uverse but we also had some major problems getting it started since we're in new construction. Took about 2 weeks for them to get it right but I wouldn't go back to regular cable TV unless I had no other choice. This is SO much better than what I had previoulsy!

OMG I'm going to miss this one too...Ok, I'm starting to feel self conscious here! LOL Last year I missed because my daughter was due any day to have her baby and as luck had it, she had him the weekend you guys were all there so if I would have went I would have missed the birth of my first Grandchild! This year, on June 4-8th, we'll be in Las Vegas. My same daughter will be turning 21 on the 4th and getting married on the 6th. Can't miss that either!!! Maybe next trip?????? I WANT TO MEET YOU ALL! I know that I don't post all that often, but I always read and try to post when time permits....oh well, such is life.

Terri - my daughter did miscarry....it saddens me because even though I didn't want her to be pregnant, she really was happy and was trying to do the right thing and take care of herself for once....I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason... :angry_smile:

I have a pitbull and she's one of the best dogs I've ever had. She is very even tempered, she's never bit anyone, she barks at the fence, but never has she shown any aggression towards anyone who comes into our home invited, she gets along well with the cats and other dogs once we've introduced her. Heck at our last house this little dog, well medium sized dog, Frankie, broke through our fence and when we came home they were playing ball in the back yard! She's such a great dog, so sweet. I just love her to death...it saddens me that because of the incidents that happen with pitbulls that they all get a bad name. There are aggressive dogs in every breed...it's just that people tend to fight and make pits more aggressive and because they are so powerful, they can do so much more damage. When I was 5 months pregnant with my first daughter, I was attacked by 2 german shephards. Then my neighbor's 3 yr old was almost blinded by an attack by a chihuahua. Anyway, just my 2 cents everytime I see anyone talk about pitbulls...I'll shut up now! :angry_smile:

Yes it will definitely cause your face to swell...people who are on it long term get what they call "moon face", because it stays puffed up....

Just an update - my daugher started bleeding yesterday (although she bled her last pregnancy too). We went to the ER today and they did an ultrasound which didn't show anything, but her hcg levels were 2000 and they feel that they should see something with those levels. Think she's either not as far along as she thinks or it's a blighted ovum....she goes back in Monday to get her hcg levels drawn again to see if they increase like they should or if they go down. As much as I don't want her to be pregnant, this whole thing saddens me...I don't want her to lose it either.....I'll let you all know more when I find something more definitive out....

I was there yesterday...had the salad and chicken enchilada soup...service was horrible too lol...must be a requirement for hiring their staff.

She is SO darling!!! Now that I'm over the initial shock of my daughter being pregnant again, I'm secretly hoping she has a little girl....I'll be happy with either of course. I just want a healthy baby for her...and hope that she straightens up. Today it's been 3 weeks since she's been sober...and counting. Thank you for sharing! I can't wait to get these kids in the kitchen and make cookies with them!!!
