  1. Thanks rtgirl for the info. No way!! I plan on having a child after I lose the weight. But I didnt even know that was an option. I'll discuss further with my doc. :girl_hug:
  2. I had this happen. It didn't show up for about 2 weeks after my surgery. It freaked me out. It was a piece of the dissovleable stiches. (is that spelled right...) Anyway, I ended up putting a band-aid over it until it just fell off one day while showering. I would still call my Doc and make sure that's what yours is.
  3. Hello!!!! I was banded 12-26-06. I've lost 35 lbs and went from a size 22/24 to a 18/20. I haven't seen an 18/20 for at least 10 years. It feels awesome. I've had my first fill but am struggling with losing weight since incorporating real food in my diet. I also am still learning to eat slower and recognizing the feeling of full so I don't over eat. I look forward to meeting other bandies and learning a few things!!!!
  4. Hello all!! I am a newbie. I was banded 12-26 and didn't think to ask this question pre-op. I plan on having another child in the next couple of years which leads me tot his question....When pregnant can you see your port under your skin?? I would think that it gets sore and the port is clearly visible while your pregnant. Is this true any feedback would be great.
  5. I have read that it takes at least 4 months to break a habit and re-enforce a new and healty one. So don't give up!!!!! Tomorrow is a new day to start your healty habits again.
