    Hi My surgery is on the 24th May. I have been on optifast for 3months.I have been having 3 shakes a day and vegetables.Hasn't been easy but I am determined to get rid of a lot of fat of my liver which the doctor found when she did a gastrocopy(camera down the throat) they also said I had an enlarged spleen. I have lost 25 kilos. Has anyone else been told they have a fatty liver or enlarged spleen.

    Hi I am from Australia and due to have surgery on the 24th May I am also feeling scared and anxious. I think we are supposed to feel like this especially where any surgery is concerned. I know I do have a choice to go ahead or not but for my healths sake I have to do it. This time next week the op will be over with and the recovery starts and hard work begins with many changes :wub:
