  1. Had surgery on April 27th. After overnite stay went to my mothers to recuperate. Concerned about not being able to hold much of the broth or jello served in small plastic 3 oz containers. Presently I have a small amount of discomfort from the upper right port site. I am also reovering from rotator cuff surgery on the left shoulder done two months ago. My problem is finding unflavored protein. Sugar free popsicles are my most favorite food. Apple sauce works also. EAS protein shakes were good before surgery. Now it takes me all day to drink one. Also takes all day to get in 8 ounces of water. I lost 15 pounds on liver shrink diet preop. I have lost 10 more since surgery. Hard to get my medication down but the applesauce also helps with swallowing the pills. I am enjoying this forum
