My doctor will not perform surgery unless you are smoke free for like 30days or something like that. I do agree with him because of being put under and the complications that can happen, but man i am struggling to quit I am a housewife and the boredom gets me everytime. They even do a test to make sure you have been smoke free...

I am kinda likea tell it like it is kinda girl, so here it goes. Why would you go thru all this to get banded to screw it up in a week you can strech your stomach too. If you can not get a handle on it now the band will not do you any good so buck up and follow the rules.. Sorrry if i hurt your feelings but i say it like i see it..

It isnt united's choice it is up to the employer to put it in the coverage. I have weighed in with my primary for 4 months just in case....
