I am waiting to hear from my insurance company on my appeal. If that falls through, I am thinking about seeing Dr. Pleatman in MI as a self-pay. My husband is worried about me going to Mexico. I have heard a lot a great things about the surgeons. I just want to have support from hubby and family. Heather

Thanks for all the input! I am still doing my research and praying that my appeal to the insurance company will come back postive, so I don't have to go anywhere else.

I have been denied coverage of my revision of lab band to sleeve. I have been researching Mexico options for self-pay. My husband prefer that I stay in the US, because of after care. Has anyone used a US doctor for a revision that gave a good price for self-pay patients. I will travel anywhere in the US. Thanks for any information! Heather

Hi Sara, I was just reading your message to the MN Sleevers group. I also have Dr. Svendsen has my surgeon. The funny thing is, I too, will be meeting with him on May 17th. I am having a revision; band to sleeve. Maybe we will run into each other. Welcome, Heather
