  1. I am finally done with the 6 month diet, now I just have to have my mental health appt, and then my records go to insurance for approval. I so can't wait to loose this weight, I am 21 years old, 5 foot 9 inches, 313 pounds! My goal is 180! Any inspiration is welcome, any thoughts or advice would be great too! I also work in a hospital around patients but no clue how long I should take off... Anyways can't wait to hear back from you guys!!
  2. I am doing the same thing, I have my first appointment may 1st and hopefully will be able to schedule surgery for a month or two from now. Where are you having your surgery? Whose your surgeon? This is an exciting journey!
  3. Hello everybody! I've been visiting this website alot the last two weeks. I am wanting to get sleeved soon. I live in Iowa and have my consultation with Lamasters on may 1! I am currently 303 pounds size 18/20 jeans and xxl shirts. I contacted BCBS and they told me that it has to be medically nessesary for me to have the sleeve, my BMI is 45, and the only thing that is wrong with me is feet and knees kill I have a long list of family history diseases including diabetes, lung, heart, and liver disease, also cancer. I know that if I dont do something now, I will end up that way. I have tried phentermine, atkins, weight watchers, farrells, the 17 day diet, I lost weight, but gained it all back plus some. I am tired of being tired... oh I have tachicardia as well. I am currently in nursing school, I work at a hospital overnight, with the sleeve how much time will I have to take off? Thanks!
