  1. I can feel my port too., just below my rib. I think the soreness is from the sutures that hold it in place. I'm a month post op and the soreness is getting better. I'm thinking we are just more sensitive to the port being there. I heard it can flip, but if you follow your docs instructions about the first month, like not lifting more than 5 pounds, no bending over, etc., you should be fine. Also, most docs are aware f the flip problem and suture it carefully in place now!
  2. Your surgeon will determine which size is best for your anatomy at the time of surgery. One is not better over the other.
  3. One week post op and today seems a bit better. Lots of gas is right. Hope that goes away soon. I've been doing a bunch of walking to help that out. Hope everyone else is doing better!
  4. I had my Lap Band placed April 17th and will have my one week post op doc visit tomorrow. all I can say is ouch!!!
