May Surgery's
I talked with my husband about my top weight today and told him. It was a major relief to talk to him about it because I felt like it was something that was holding me back. He doesn't care if I am my goal weight of 140 or 600 lbs but for some reason it felt good for him to know if it was look be proud I have lost 72lb or just someone else knowing a secret I had not told anyone else (besides my lap band buddies). Just thought I would share my good experience.

May Surgery's
Lisa I've hit the point also where I'm not losing its very frustrating when I hit that point i came here and talked and it encouraged me and kept me going. When everyone was losing it was rough to see that even though i am extremely happy for them!! I was not right along with them, but I always have had more added to my band the next time I went to the dr. It gets better and better each time I go and talk with dr. I'm slowly losing but I also hav to work with my band and eat right and work out. And the new life style will never be "done" It's a whole life change that I as well as my husband and kids have taken on.

What Are Your Nsv Goals?
To feel comfortable in my own body To finally weight less than my husband ( we have been together 11 years and I have never weighed less than him and he loves me no matter what) To be able to run a 5k in honor of my aunt and grandma that beat breast cancer To enjoys running and playing outside with my 3 active boys and not get winded or so tired it's not fun To look into the mirror and just smile because I know I have worked hard to be at a healthy weight **** I am 15 pounds away from my first goal "The Onederland!" I have not weight under 200 pounds in 11 years I want it so bad I cant wait!! I am so glad I went with this life change I feel better, I'm eating healthy and so is my whole family!!

Spouse Won't Eat
I don't have that problem anymore I told him it made he feel bad so he eats now and I just eat with them, my food is just little different. Last week a girl i work with and I were talking about people watching us eat! It makes us nervous. And if we eat something like the chicken that didnt go down right people ask, of coarse out of love, are you okay? Are you choking? or they stop eating with us!

Is This Bandster Hell?!
I think drinking enough and keeping your mind occupied helps a lot. If I'm at home on my day off with not a lot going on I want to eat and food that counts helps too I still drink a protein shake

Bandages
That is also what I was told. Then when iwebt to my week check up sh went ahead and took them off and put a little bandage on one

Has Anyone Had Plateau In Weight Yet?
Good Afternoon!!! I went to my dr last Thursday and they said Everything looked great! I was happy to hear that. Then they asked if I had hit a plateau yet in my weight and that it would happen more than likely before my first fill... And it happened grrr! I was wondering if anyone else has hit a plateau yet and if so how are you staying on track I get frustrated not seeing the scale go down as it was.

New To Group
I did that too. Lost a 11 pounds before surgery and 3 after but havnt really lost anything after! I was kind of nervous but I went to the dr last Thursday and they said it was normal and I would plateau. That I had to watch because sooner or later I would start become hungry and I needed to keep what I eat under control and follow diet so I didn't regain

Todays Surgery May 4Th
Thank you! The hardest part is relaxing but I have quickly learned my lesson! Lol. I really have not had any gas pain a lot of burping though. I can kind of feel a gurgle and then an air bubble come up and burp. I'm use to at home just belting them out (not very lady like I know) but even when we are out in public it just comes. I think it has helped the gas pain to get up and move and to have my back on a heating pad. This morning a had a little pain in my shoulder I got up and moved around a bit then sat on heating pad and it went away. nothing too bad. The walking is suppose to be just to the bathroom and back to couch I pushed it too much. The next day a little more So please don't over do it it was not smart on my part. My eating I pay attention to because in afraid of getting sick. My diet is full liquids for 2 weeks yesterday I had a can of broth for lunch and it went fine. Then I tried broth for dinner and I could only eat half a can so I didn't push it. I always Carry a drink with me with a straw so I don't gulp it down and that seems to be working to get all my liquids in. I still wouldn't change my mind about doing it and glad I didn't back out. I am a little sore from surgery but nothing not manageable. When is your surgery coming?

Todays Surgery May 4Th
Thank you!! Feeling pretty good day two! But I need to realize I need to take it easy. Like the doctor said. I had to change a bandage today because I have over done it and one of my incisions bleed through. So I'm getting up from time to time but resting most of the time. I ate my first bowl of broth today also and took it slow I seemed to hold it down just fine. But has anyone else noticed they have been burping a lot! I can feel when I have to burp then i have just a little pain in my chest and I feel it come up and I feel so much better after but not very attractive lol.

Todays Surgery May 4Th
Good Afternoon I had my surgery this morning around 9a. It was a little scary at first because I thought am I doing the right thing? But I think those feelings just came from nerves of the surgery because as soon as it was over I was fine and happy I did it! I woke up with very little pain from the surgery ( pain meds they had me on I figure). They had me taking sips of water out of a little medicine cups about every fifteen minutes and which made my throat feel so good. The doctor came in and told my husband to make me take it easy but to get up and walk around from time to time to avoid blood clots. Adam (my husband) said its going to be hard to make her take it easy) but I am. I did take a good nap and I feel even better! I'm still sipping water for the rest of the day then tomorrow I am on clear liquids. Right now I have to say the nerves of the surgery were the worst part! My total day at the hospital was about 5 hours. Not bad at all for a tool to help me change my life for the better!
