  1. GasX- Walk- Heating Pad & repeat & repeat. The Gas pains are the worst part. I know it's rough. I'm 3 weeks out from my surgery & tears come in my eyes thinking back on those damn gas pains. You can do it!!!!
  2. No issues at all with the liver biopsy. In all honesty I had forgotten about it- busy with recovery of the band. Doc said its more a proactive measure to ensure there were no underlying issues & provide a baseline in tracking the livers improvement as the weight comes off
  3. Im 3 weeks Post Op & the surgeon did a biopsy on my liver during the surgery as well. Determined that I have a fatty liver. Apparently it's very common for individuals who are overweight. Took 1 week for benign results. But he did refer me to a specialist as a precaution. Most cases of fatty liver are resolved when we start loosing weight & keeping it off.
  4. I'm 3 weeks out from my hernia + band surgery. I didn't have my first BM until day 5 & my doc said this was too long. Turns out what I thought was gas pains was constipation. There won't be much but you should have one.
  5. I was banded on May 2nd. I've had so much emotional support it's overwhelming but I'm sick & tired of the back pain. Drs say its gas pain but I've walked around & taken my sometimes it's better often times its the same.. I hit an emotional low yesterday- crying & fearing I had made a terrible mistake. It's effecting my sleep as well - sleeping in 4hr incrimendments.
