  1. I've just finished taking my three pre photo ops....you know front and two sides. I am so excited this day has come. I am well on my way to a new me. At home scale reads 338.8. Hopefully or maybe not the hospital scale says the same. See you all on the losers bench.
  2. I am on Thursday as well. What a coincidence, I only have to do pre-op the day before as well. I am so excited about my new life.
  3. My surgeon actually made me go off birth control at least 30 days before surgery because the estrogen effects bleeding during surgery. I can't start taking it till at least a month after surgery.
  4. Well my doctor only requires a one day liquid diet the day before surgery, so I've lucked out.
  5. Mine is on the 26th and I know exactly how you feel. I'm excited and can't wait for the new me.
  6. So this past Friday, I got my surgery date for July 26. I started this journey back in January and its been really quiet so far being that I'm 23 years old and with no co-morbidities. I have yet to adjust my lifestyle and I am finding it difficult to do so. I don't want to wake up on the 26 in a panic because I haven't really grasped what I am getting into. This forum has been really helpful and I hope you all can help me.
  7. Hi Everyone, I have been reading through the forum for a few weeks but decided today was the day to say hi. I am 23 and I am a few months into this journey. I've already had my initial consultation with the surgeon and have started scheduling appointments with the nutritionist and psychologist. From all that I've been reading, you all are such a helpful group of people and I am looking forward to all of your support and to be a support to someone as well. Thanks in advance for everything.
