  1. I was banded April 13th. 10 days post op && I'm feeling good, but I have noticed now that I'm not so tender and swollen that I can actually feel my tummy now. I feel my band in the middle of my stomach below my bra line. Is this normal? Im prettysire ots my band.My port is by my belly button so I know it's not my port. Sometimes it's uncomfortable but I just feel it which is odd. Is this normal? Help (:
  2. I'll trim them and leave then alone. Thanks so much ladies. (:
  3. Hola! I was banded Friday the 13th 2012. So I am 5 days post op. I am going back to work tomorrow and have some questions on my stitches. Since a lot of you have gone through this I thought you could help out. My doctor said after 24 hours I can take off the gauze and take a shower in which I did. I only re covered the two highest in the middle seeing as I didn't want my bra rubbing on them and irratating. The other three I just let breath. Well now the "paper tape" covering the stitches is practically half way off. Is it okay if I completely take this off and cover with a bandaid, or take them off and just let them breath. Someone please help. I don't want to be worrying about it at work tomorrow. Thanks (:

  5. I had my surgery Friday afternoon, I'm going back to work tomorrow 7am. I still feel sore and bit of gas but I think getting back to my normal routine will get me out of this mental rut. The biggest thing I'm going to have to deal with I feel is my energy, seeing as I have 10 hours shifts at a fast pace imaging center. Ek. Take as long as you feel your body needs.
  6. Well let's just say I'm crying in bed. Having my apartment smell like food and watching my mom and get fiancé eat is so tough. Im a vegetarian and those chicken tacos looked so amazinggg sigh /: but I understand that the first couple of weeks will be the toughest. I can't wait to get to my goal but for now I'm just trying to mentally take this all in. Having no one understand what I'm going through is the hardest part right now, other then wanting to eat my whole kitchen. Sigh.
  7. I also was banded Friday the 13th! Two days post op and I'm dying. I had an isopure clear protien drink earlier and it just didn't do it for me. This is definitely going to be a tough road, but glad to know I'm not alone.
