  1. I take claritin D everyday through out the summer for allergies and I have been fine.
  2. Yes I just just went on a couple roller coaster over this past weekend. No prob at all except getting scared to death..lol lol Have fun
  3. I cannot wait for my first fill. I was banded on April 17 and have been struggling the last week and a half. I go for my first fill a week from today. I wish they would of done it sooner. Glad your feeling good
  4. I also have 4 small ones and 1 larger one
  5. I also waited a month. And actually forgot I had the band. hahahaha
  6. I am going through the same thing.. I was banded on April 17 and I don't get my first fill till June 6. It seems to get tougher and tougher everyday. Especially when everyone who knows I have had it done think I am going to just miraculously lose a ton of weight, they don't realize I am actually doing this myself till I start getting fills. I wish they gave fills right away.
  7. I agree with readytogoforit this didn't happen over night. You need patience. I count the ounces I lose not the pounds. Then I still feel good about losing. You need to keep eating protien, protien makes you feel full longer. Also liquids are a big factor keep drinking low calorie drinks. I was banded 4/17/12 and am on mushy. I walk everyday and that helps alot. Just because you cannot workout you can walk and walk some more. Hope this helps. P.S. I don't get my first fill till June 6
  8. I was banded on April 17th and have been healing great. But last night I had a pain come on my left side near my port and it still hasn't left. Not sure how to describe it but its a nagging pain. I havn't had pain there for a week or so and it kind of feels different then before. It is right under my left rib cage. Anyone had this before or know what it might be?
  9. Congrats that is AWESOME!!!
  10. I had my surgery April 17th and still have the pain. Actually today it is hurting quite a bit. I hope it goes away soon. I also was told its gas but I am having a hard time believing it. Not sure what makes it hurt
  11. The same thing happens to me.. but I do think it's because of habit... That is when I would eat most of my food while watching tv. So I think my mind is telling me to eat but I could probably go without. Its a tough fight. I guess mind over matter. Hope I win this fight
  12. Mine is from myfitnesspal.com
  13. I don't know how you made it to work after 3 days.. I took 2 weeks off and am glad I did.. I seemed to have healed slow. Still sore and haven't slept very well since surgery 13 days ago. Still on liquid diet until Monday when i see my surgeon. I am ready for real food. lol
  14. You have been through sooo much that going to meet with your Dr. should be a piece of cake.. (ha no pun inteneded). If you can get through the roller coaster ride of depression you can do this... Just take a deep breath pick up the phone and call your doctor. you will be glad you did and wonder why you were soooo hesitant. The more you put it off the more you are hurting only you. You have come this far do whats best for you and call and ask for help. I wish you all the luck
  15. I was banded on the 17th and also had to have a hiatal hernia repaired. Still very sore and the gas pain in my shoulder is incredible. Hoping to feel better soon. Still having trouble with the night time hungers.. ughhhh
