  1. I had my first fill today 4 ccs. Is it normal to have diarrhea after a fill?
  2. Today is my is week anniversary :-). I go for my follow up visit tomorrow. I'm so looking forward to it! My doctor usually advances his patients to phase 2-soft/mushy foods. I'm still not back to normal and still sore especially around my port. I haven't weighed myself since my surgery. I don't want to be come obsessed about it but I am curious to know if I've lost anything since surgery. Oh well guess I'll find out tomorrow!
  3. Yes! I haven't really had any energy even though I've been resting since I cam chime from the hospital. I did manage to go to the grocery store today but now I'm worried I over did it.
  4. Ugh! I'm so jealous of you right now LOL! I had my surgery on the 26th as well and I takey pain meds around the clock. I can't wait until I feel "normal" again :'(

  6. I was banded yesterday around noon. I spent the night in the hospital and was was discharged today. Even though they gave me se liquid pain meds, I really miss my PCA pump :'( Fortunately ilL don't have any gas pains (as of yet) so I'm not too bad off.
  7. Hello everyone! So I was banded yesterday around noon. Everything went fine.y surgeon requires an overnight stay in the hospital so I'm still here. I'm not experiencing a lot of pain more soreness than anything. I do have a pain pump too:-) so that may be why I'm not in much pain lol. I wanted to update yesterday hut I slept most of the day. I've had mybupper GI xray performed to ensure proper placement and now i get some clear liquids. Yay! As far as I know I'll be going home sometime today. Thanks for all the warm wished and prayers!
  8. I'm up getting ready to go to the hospital. I've waited so long for this day and now it's finally here! I'll keep you guys posted on my progress.
  9. Okay....I have a pretty gross question to ask, but here goes. I'm scheduled for surgery tomorrow 9/26 and course I started period yesterday. My period start of pretty heavy for the first few days then lighten up. Now for the gross part. Along with the heavier flow I'm passing these clots (during my period) and I don't know if I should postpone my surgery. I've called the surgeon's office but no one has called me back yet. Did anyone else experience this?

  11. Try Cherokee Core Stretch. They're made with a little bit if spandex which makes moving and bending so much easier. There sole at most uniform stores, but uf you want a big selection of colors, try online.

  13. My surgery date is September 26 and I'm so excited! This has been a long time coming. I just hope and pray that everything goes as planned. One thing I am concerned about is shrinking my liver on this preop diet. My doctor recommends a low calorie diet, 1200 to be exact instead of a liquid diet. Has anyone else had success in shrinking her liver without an all liquid preop diet? I would be devastated if I couldn't have the surgery due to a fatty liver :'(
  14. Hello all! I just had my initial consult today. Unfortunately, my surgeon doesn't do the banding with plication, but there is another surgeon in the group that does. Can anyone tell me the pros/cons of the plication? What and how was your weight loss? I just need some info before I fully decide to switch over to the other surgeon for the plication. Thanks is in advance!
