  3. I was just wondering if anyone knows if they have such a thing like a medical card to prove that you have a very small stomach, so would be able to show so places would allow you to pay as a child . I remember when i had the lap band we had that?
  4. I am now just over a week out and I ended up having a allergic reaction to the glue they use to close the incisions. The big incision is so uncomfortable and red and swollen. Dr said to just put aloe Vera on the areas and take benadryl. Has anyone else experience this??
  5. Good luck with your appointment.

  8. I have my post op appointment today. I really can't wait. I have been so itchy where the incisions are. Most of the the tape came off,and the black stuff, some look like there open so I put bandaid on. But I'm just so itchy is driving me crazy. I fan myself with a pillow lol.. I'm excited to be going , I can see how much I weigh., well maybe not exciting. Lol.

  10. I just started today my 2nd stage which is full liquids. I had my shake and some cream soup. Cream soup went down slow, it took time to eat it. I just felt a little full, but if I took too much it hurt in my chest. And now I had a small container of pudding, which I was able to finsh.felt a little pain so I stop and waited till it went away then I continue. I was just wondering if I should stop eatting and that means I'm full. I m afraid of having too much. I hear so many on hear saying that they can't eat much of anything or a very small amount not a 4 oz pudding.
  11. I'm having my first Premier Protein shake , I added milk to it. Skim milk. And it's not think anymore. It taste so good. It's not water...

  14. I feel like I can drink alot and even have entire Italian ice without any issues. I feel like it is too soon to be able to consume that much. It was only a week tomorrow that I was sleeved. It seems like it's over night. One day I could get enough and now I feel it's too much. Has anyone had the same feeling?
  15. How about wearing a bra? I'm going 6 days out and I can't put one one. I wear an underwire one. One of my incision is right in the middle where the bra would lay. ( any bra)

  18. I had my surgery last Wednesday so it's been 4 days. I am finally getting more liquids in, which is good. The other day was the first tim I went #2, but it was like I passed gas and it was like an explosion sorry tmi., but I need to ask if anyone else has experienced the same thing. I have only had clear liquids now since last Tuesday so I would think it would be solid, but if feels like every time go to the bathroom and I pass gas it happens. It's brown and yellow . it's not really diarrhea. As anyone else experience this??
  19. I definitely understand that. My husband has no idea of all the emotions and nerves that come with this.
  20. Hi all my 13th partners. I just found out I don't need to be at the hospital till 11. I was originally told I should be first, and now I'm the 3rd. I had my mind set that I would be in there early and I won't have to wait around. Not to mention I can't even have anthing to drink. I am just so nervous and I have been getting so upset and crying to my husband. I just hope that they will be able to give me something when I first get there to calm me down. I'm such a BABY ..
  21. I'm sorry that your feeling this way. I had a someone I feel is like a mother to me at my work that acual said to me the other day, " your actually going to go through it " and I felt so upset, and not sure how I feel about doing it. My head knows I need it to do it for my health and I know how good it feels since I have had the lap band before. I actually like what I looked like and I never felt like that before and I want to again.
  22. Well the 13th is almost here one more day. I am only allowed clear liquids tomomow. So I' took tomorrow off from work. It's just too hard to be around everyone when they eat and I can't even have a protein shake. So I just took the day off. Figured I would get my bag backed and just watch movies or something. .
  23. Best of luck everyone, mine is Wednesday and I'm scared, nervous and all above
  24. I'm now 2 days away from my surgery and I am so nervous . I can't stop thinking about it!
