Just finished pre op and I am a bundle of nerves!! I stopped telling friends and family about surgery due to so many negative comments so I feel like I'm in this battle by myself!! Nervous but ready for surgery! I have read so many comments and I guess everyone has their own experience just wonder what mine will be like??? The dr and staff was wonderful.. Has anyone in Georgia had the lapband?? Need some buddies!!

I am so glad I am in this forum. I have been torn since I choose to do this. I have been heavy my whole life and am tired of carrying around all this weight. I will lose weight and then gain it and have tried every diet, pill, and plan known to man!!! Lol!! Tired of been called the pretty fat girl... Just want to be pretty! I am no longer telling anyone my husband is very supportive and that is all that matters. I read every one comments and had tears in my eyes because y'all touched my heart!! April 19th I start a new life and no turning back!! Thank you

Thanx for the encouragement... I have tried everything else and truly feel like this is my last dance.. Not gonna lie I am terrified but ready!! I just dont know what to expect because it seems as everyone experience varies

I am considering surgery and have a date of April 19 however my friends are discouraging me by saying u gain your weight back... U throw up!! I am a bag of emotions!! Help!!! Wish I wouldn't have told anyone and just did it!!!
