  1. Glove, yes I have seen and read both and had the chance to meet dr. Bernard from forks over knives. Since he is local to the DC area.
  2. Ha I have no willpower that is i'm in this situation! Lol! I don't understand restrictions? And fills? Have only met ith dr. Once for about 10 minutes. I just want to be skinny!
  3. Allison, thanks for the info. I don't eat a lot of processed foods so that is not my worry. I eat a lot of fresh veges, how do u do with those? Also howdid u do liquid? I asked if I can juice my veges and fruit and add some vegan protein and dr..said not right after surgery just wants protein shakes....honestly I hate that crap i much rather eat real food vs some chemical crap....

  5. I'm new to this group. Like most of you I'm scared, scared of failing. But that is another issue. I have my cardio and psych visits scheduled and I'm self pay so I'm hoping to have the surgery in April or May depending on my work schedule. I have a lot of questions but my first is has anybody gone into this already a Vegan? I told my suregeon up front that I will not eat any animal based foods. Just want some thoughts and personal stories. Thanks for sharing. Buffalo Gyrl
