Abbey1982 got a reaction from NWgirl in It's Been A Loooong Time
It's been a long time since I've been on here and even had to create a new user profile.
I just wanted to share what a blessing the lapband has been for me and my family. All of my health problems are gone! No more high blood pressure or diabetes!
I am now almost 3 years post op and I've been at goal for almost 2 years. My loss was slow at 1st but I finally realized that the band is only a tool. You have to change your lifestyle! I also had an awesome surgeon with an awesome staff!
I started at 213 and I'm now 5'8 and 125!!!! It's the best feeling to go into a store and they don't have your size because you're too small! I used to be a 16 now I'm a 0-4 depending on the brand! Good luck to everyone and stay strong! It can be done!
