  1. I haven't taken any pain meds today and I'm feeling tons better! I think it was the pain meds that did me in. I have had anesthesia before and have had no problems from it. The elixir just got to me I guess. Now if I can just get the gas pains to subside, I will be doing great!
  2. Come to find out I am mildly allergic to my pain meds. My surgeon didn't send me home with any nausea medication, but fortunately I called and got some. Thanks for everyone's help!
  3. I had my surgery yesterday. Everything went perfectly and I've been up walking around with no problems. Today I have been really sick. I've thrown up every time I've taken my medicine. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I'm not sure if it's normal or if I need to call my doctor.
  4. I get banded on Wednesday (March 28th) and am just thinking of all the things that can go wrong! Someone please help me out here!! I worry that even though I'm sticking to this pre-op diet--no cheating at all--that for some reason my liver won't be small enough. And I'm worried something will happen in the operating room. And I worry that I just won't lose the weight. Anyone else have these fears? Or know how to put them at ease?!
  5. Miralax will help with your BM. I have some in stock already because I get banded on the 28th (so excited)! I've had surgery on my collarbone before and I went 12 days without a BM and had to be hospitalized. I had taken EVERYTHING, except Miralax. My dad is a pharmacist, and swears it will do the trick.
