  1. I was told to take prenatal vitamins because of the extra iron.
  2. There are different sized bands, and depending on the choice your surgeon made you may not need a fill. Also, sometimes they will add Fluid during surgery like mine did. I have no idea how much fluid I have in my band or what size it is....not important to me as long as it's helping me achieve my goal! I was banded Feb. 10, 2012 have lost 120 lbs, and have only had 1 DE-fill (0.1cc) [sharedmedia=trackers:tickers:2163]
  3. I'm feeling a little discouraged for various other reasons then the scale. I was banded on Feb 10, and have lost 74lbs, with no fill!!! I'm extremely happy with this result, but I have no desire to eat. One poster mentioned dehydration can result in nausea, so I started being very conscious of my Water intake. Before I do anything in the morning I sit down and drink 4 cups of water! And then I'll have another 4 cups in the next 8 hours. I find that since doing this, I am able to eat more, and was actually feeling hungry and not nauseous. I guess the reason I'm discouraged is, I've lost my passion for cooking and eating!! Eating seems like such a chore! I hate wasting food, and throwing it out. So I will eat the same thing for days on end, and THEN end up throwing it out because I'm disgusted by it! I'm so confused, I used to love to cook, and obviously I had a food addiction, but now it's like I have a total food adversion! And at times, I tell meself, "ok, you HAVE to eat now" I still try to make healthy choices, and get my Protein in, but I wish I still had that desire to cook and enjoy my food, not hate it.
  4. I was banded Feb 10, 2012. I have lost 67lbs so far. I have not had a fill, as I still feel the restriction. I do not get hungry, or thirsty, in fact, I could probably go the whole day without eating or drinking. I count my calories and exercise, but I rarely hit 1000 calories. There are many times that I don't feel well, and not sure what to contribute it too. The first couple weeks after surgery I was extremely nauseous. And still, there are many days that I can't even think of food, but I force it down because I know I need to, to survive. I am pleased with the weightloss, but discouraged in the way it is making me feel. I just want to feel great and lose weight! If there are any others that are feeling this way I would like to hear from you!
