  1. You may have a subcutaneous skin suture that is trying to work it's way out. Probably want to see the dr, they may need to make a small incision and remove the offending suture. Not at all unusual, even at this time.
  2. I would follow the doctor's orders. I am a surgical PA and we have pts on a liquid diet for another surgery that requires us to "move the liver" out of the way. Our diet is for 7-10 days and we have seen excellent results with much smaller livers after that time.
  3. Hello all, my name is Diane and I live in Payson. I am scheduled for surgery on March 30th with Rob Schuster.. I work for Banner so it is my only choice, but I feel extremely confident in the Banner Bariatric Program. I have been overweight for 20 years, with a lot of yoyo dieting. As a healthcare professional, I know it is only a matter of time until I develop diabetes (as it does run in my family) I also have sleep apnea, and would love to get rid of the CPAP machine!! Looking forward to this journey as it has been a long time coming....
  4. Well I just found the group and I belong to you guys!! Scheduled for surgery on Friday March 30th, wish it was sooner. Start my liquid diet on the 15th and have my preop evaluation on the 25th. My surgeon is Dr Robert Schuster at Banner Gateway in Gilbert AZ.
